Utah

Our Utah trip continued with lots of adventures!

We went to 7 Peaks (and I forgot my swimming suit! Had to use several of Kira's), the Freshly Picked Warehouse sale, the aquarium with Jen Dansie, 4-wheeling in the canyon, and Trafalga!

The kids LOVED Trafalga! It was a little run down and only had little rides, but it was PERFECT for them! They had so much fun!

Thanks for all the fun Grandma and Grandpa!

4th of July

For the 4th we stayed at Grandma's house and set off fireworks.

Olivia made some sad choices and had to miss the fireworks (it was so sad!),  but we saved some for the next night to do with her.

Heber City

We had such a fun time at the Girls' Camp in Heber City!
My mom made reservations at a church camp that you can rent out Friday-Saturday. It turned out to be really fun (except that we slept on wooden bunks and my kids slept walk/talked the whole night)!

We did canoeing, a ropes course, zip lining, s'mores, horseshoes, dominos, hiking, and fun!

Asparagus Miracle

I offered to help the lady I visit teach with her daughter's wedding. She asked me to do the asparagus wrapped in prosciutto. Sherry (the mom) said they were fine to be made the day before and stay refrigerated. She dropped off all the supplies and I decided to do it on Friday so I wouldn't be stressed Saturday.

I opened the bags of asparagus and they were all bad! I was so glad I didn't wait until the last minute to find that out! Jay grabbed some from Sam's Club on his way home, but I had to start it Saturday morning instead. I did not realize how time-intensive the project would be! I had to cut the prosciutto, hand wrap the bundles, and broil it for three minutes on each side. It was quite the task!

I did the math and I didn't have enough time, so I said a prayer that I needed time to go slower so I could get all the asparagus cooked in time. Amazingly it worked, and I even had enough time to chill it before delivering it.

It sounds simple, but it was a miracle and they were delicious!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to Jay!
He is the father of many!

Jay had breakfast in bed, lots of presents and hugs, no diapers, and after we went to church we went to his parents' house for dinner and fun.
